My sisters and I used to visit Twin Lakes in the 1950s and 1960s staying at our Great Aunt and Uncle Stair's home on the big lake. They met at the Watson House and were friends of Mr. and Mrs. Watson. The telephone pole on Twin Lakes road that was at the end of their driveway was one mile from the Watson House. People that walked to that point from the Watson house would put coins into the split wood of the telephone pole. Although we visited the Watson House often, and one of my sisters waitressed there one summer, the only picture I have of the Watson House is a picture of my grandfather on horse back in front of the Watson House that was probably taken in the 1920s. Your pictures are most welcomed.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14439778657030429563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6961203811028907861.post-22912040287423537152019-02-04T06:39:19.686-05:002019-02-04T06:39:19.686-05:00I am impressed.
